Dunedin Terrace faces Dunedin Park, a swathe of green with playing fields, walks and a five minute short-cut to Monkstown Village in south Co Dublin.  The terrace is part of Monkstown Farm, an older, council development of solid houses with good gardens.

The vendors bought this house 18 months ago, when they paid €307,000 for a house in woeful condition. They ripped it apart before redesigning and remaking it as a bright, contemporary home. They “really enjoyed” remaking the house, so much so that they are selling to embark on another house project.

A glass door leading from the living/diningroom to the rear garden creates the clever illusion of an outdoor room. The floor here, and in two of the bedrooms, is a wood laminate in a pale greyish colour; the walls and shelving are white.
