Tuesday & Wednesday (October 20th & 21st) Mealy's, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny. Two-day Autumn Fine & Decorative Art sale. Auction begins at 11am each day. Viewing from noon tomorrow. Over 1,300 lots including the collection of the late Tony Murphy formerly of Smarmore Castle, Co Louth including archives acquired from the Taaffe family of Smarmore Castle.

Wednesday (October 21st) O'Reilly's Auction Rooms, 126 Francis Street, Dublin 8. Auction of jewellery, watches and silver at 1pm. Viewing from noon tomorrow, Sunday.

Wednesday (October 21st). Woodward's Auctioneers, Cook Street, Cork. Antiques & Art auction at 6pm includes a collection of Imari Japanese porcelain including a pair of ginger jars, €400-€500.

Thursday (October 22nd) A five-day Antique and Fine Art Fair opens at 2pm in the Talbot Hotel, Wexford to coincide with the opera festival. Continues until October 26th. 11am-8pm daily.
