Results: Wednesday (November 11th) Bonhams, London. A copy of the so-called Wicked Bible – published in London in 1631 – containing the infamously misprinted seventh commandment "Thou Shalt Commit Adultery" sold for £31,250 (€44,113), over double the top estimate (£10,000-£15,000).

The modern British and Irish art auction at 3pm includes several pictures by Irish artists, including Lemon by Louis le Brocquy £25,000-£35,000 (€35,000 –€49,000); Cabins by a Lough: West of Ireland by Paul Henry; Margarita by Daniel O'Neill ; and House Tops, Tetuan, View from the House of the British Minister by Sir John Lavery, each estimated at £20,000 –£30,000 (€28,000- €42,000).
