Monday (July 25th) Whyte's, 38 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2. Online Summer Art auction, 75 per cent of lots sold. Lot 136, a signed colour print of the painting entitled Our Lady - Queen of Ireland by Leo Whelan €700 (€150-€200). Among other interesting results were: Lot 1, After Sunset, Algarve by Patrick Leonard €1,200 (€800-€1,200); Lot 11, Canal Lock at Percy Place, Dublin by Liam Treacy €1,500 (€1,200-€1,500; Lot 12, Near Mount Brandon 1, County Kerry €3,400 (€1,500-€1,800); Lot 16, Fruit Blossoms, 1914 by Frederick O'Neill Gallagher €2,400 (€300-€500); Lot 31, Black and White Cat by Graham Knuttel €750 (€800-€1,000); Lot 71, The Crabs (pencil drawing) "attributed to William Patrick Roberts RA (British 1895-1980) €2,100 (€200-€400); Lot 92, Lovers by the Sea by William Mason €300 (€300-€500); and Lot 100, January Evening, Brittany, France by Arthur K Maderson €5,000 (€3,000-€4,000).
