An Irish silver tea-set made in Dublin in 1966, with An Claidheamh Solas (The Sword of Light) hallmark used to commemorate the golden jubilee of the 1916 Rising, €500-€1,000; an Ireland 1940 penny, “uncirculated, in capsule”, €180-€240.

Sunday, February 21st: Adam’s, 26 St Stephen’s Green. Fine Period Interiors auction at noon. Viewing begins on Thursday, February 18th.
