Thursday, January 28th: Spink Auctioneers, New York. "Liberty Collection" of medals, historical documents, uniforms and other artefacts relating to the 1916 Rising and the War of Independence. A set of four medals awarded to Bridget Connolly, Cumann na mBan, who served in the GPO, $7,250 ($7,000-$9,000).

Sunday, January 31st:: Hegarty's Auctioneers, Bandon, Co Cork. An Irish Regency rosewood and brass inlaid table €2,950 (€3,000-€5,000); a George II mahogany fold-over card table €1,650 (€2,000-€4,000). Monday, February 1st: RJ Keighery City Auction Rooms, Waterford. A five-branch Waterford Crystal chandelier €1,100 (€900-€1,200); a French art nouveau marble mantel clock by "Le Goc" €350 (€180-€250).
