In the fold with Irish design at Kildare Village

For the next month, visitors to Kildare village will have the chance to peruse the work of some of Ireland's emerging fashion talent. An exhibition, In the Fold, will showcase the work of young Irish graduates who are changing the face of Irish fashion.

Launched at London Fashion Week as part of Irish Design 2015, the show explores how the designers respond to their environment, and issues such as Irish identity are explored. Those exhibiting are Rory Parnell Mooney, Michael Stewart, Caoimhe Mac Naoise, Richard Malone, Jocelyn Murray Boyne, Oliver Duncan and Laura Kinsella. The show is coordinated by fashion and textiles advisor Aisling Farinella.

A series of events and workshops will also take place, including a craft of weaving workshop on Saturday, May 23rd.
