Our Data and Analytics department is a new and exciting area in The Irish Times. We would like to develop the team by appointing a Digital Analytics and Search Specialist. The successful candidate will define SEO strategies and will plan, implement and manage campaigns and budgets. Responsibilities will include producing reports to provide actionable insights and recommendations for both SEO and PPC using web analytics tools. Technical SEO audits including on and off the page optimisation will also be a core part of the role.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Google Analytics, PPC and SEO. He/she will have experience in managing large complex search campaigns and the technical implementation of analytical tools.
He/she must be able to demonstrate excellent numerical and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and give evidence of the ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills, initiative and team working are essential for this role.
Applicants must have digital marketing experience with a relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent.
This role allows for exposure to a wide range of projects and the opportunity to broaden and build skills and experience in a dynamic new and growing section within the media industry.
