A respected body on tax policy and administration, the Institute engages at the most senior levels across government, business and State organisations. Representing the views and ex-pertise of its members, the Institute plays an important role in the fiscal and tax administrative discussions and decisions in Ireland and in the European Union.
The Chief Executive reports to the Council of the Institute and leads a highly experienced executive team. He/she represents the Institute in Ireland and internationally at a senior level with a broad range of stakeholders including government, the public service, professional practice and the corporate sector. The Chief Executive also acts as the Institute’s key media spokesperson. One of the significant measures of success will be the ability to lead a high-performing organisation while dealing with a complex policy agenda.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication and leadership skills, be capable of developing trusted relationships with the Council, ITI membership and key tax policy, admin-istration and education decision makers. He/she will have a proven track record as both a leader and a team player with deep professional and personal credibility. The individual will demonstrate the ability to collaborate with the Council in strategy development and lead the executive team in its implementation. Commercially astute, he/she will have the energy and strategic vision to lead the ITI through its next phase of growth.
