- Sudden Onset of Symptoms
- High Fever - Temperature over 38°C/100.4°F
- Prominent Headache
- Aches and pains - often severe
- Fatigue, weakness can be prolonged for a number of weeks
- Extreme exhaustion - early and prominent
- Runny nose, sneezing, sore throat - common
- Cough - common, can be severe
