With a saxophone or a bass clarinet and a little bit of judicious knob-twiddling, Seán Mac Erlaine (above right) is a fearless explorer of the sonic universe, connecting early sacred music and the Irish tradition with free jazz and the avant-garde. Usually to be heard with genre-bending international quartet This Is How We Fly, Mac Erlaine is instead playing solo in the Little Museum's drawing room. It's an opportunity to hear material from his intrepid debut, Long After the Music is Gone.The evening begins at 7pm with a wine reception and pre-concert interview .
