The last-ever episode of Tonight with Vincent Browne was broadcast on TV3 on Thursday night, after 10 years of the programme.
The late-night talk show has been responsible for some TV gold - from former tánaiste Joan Burton accusing Browne of “haranguing” her and Siptu president Jack O’Connor walking out of an interview to Land League supporter Jerry Beades describing the multi-million euro mansion Gorse Hill as “bog-standard”.
The last-ever episode looked back on the issues Irish people have faced over the past 10 years and what the future holds for the State.
Mr Browne paid tribute to the guests who had appeared on the show and thanked all the staff who had worked with him and “endured” over the past decade.

Overseeing the Tweet machine for one last time were Xposé presenter Glenda Gilson and drag performers Davina Devine and Dolly Grip.
Mr Browne was joined on the last-ever panel by Independent News and Media business editor Dearbhail McDonald, Sinn Féin deputy leader Mary Lou McDonald, Independent TD Catherine Connolly, and Journal.ie news editor Sinead O’Carroll.
During the preview of Friday morning’s newspapers, Mr Browne and his guests lamented the plight of people living in direct provision.
The Irish Sun paid tribute to Mr Browne on his last day with the front-page headline “It’s Vin Emotional”, which he said was “cringemaking”.
Increased taxes
During the penultimate episode on Wednesday, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said he would not rule out raising some taxes in future budgets, but disputed the idea that such an approach was essential to delivering a more equal society.
On Thursday night’s episode, Mr Browne said his career with TV3 wasn’t over and that he was working on a documentary about Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams that will be broadcast later this year.
Not one for sentiment, Mr Browne wished viewers good night while an all-male vocal group sang Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah! for the final credits.
