Harry McGee

Political Correspondent

Harry McGee is political correspondent with The Irish Times, which he joined in 2008. He previously worked with the Irish Examiner, Sunday Tribune, RTE, Magill (where he was editor) and The Connacht Tribune. He is a frequent contributor on politics to current affairs and news programmes and has been blogging on politics since 2006. From an Irish-speaking household in Galway, he studied languages and law in NUIG, and also is a barrister. His interests outside politics are family, mountaineering, running, GAA and the Irish language.
