Brian O'Connell
Based in Cork, Brian is an award-winning journalist, author and broadcaster. He writes on a variety of topics for the Irish Times, from news to features, and has a particular interest in public health stories. Brian is a well known contributor to Irish radio and television, and is a weekly reporter on Today with Pat Kenny on RTE Radio 1. He has made a number of radio documentaries and series for RTE Radio and appears weekly on RTE Today. Brian's book, Wasted, published in 2009, examined Ireland's alcohol culture.
