Pet Shop Boys headline Friday, Chic pip Portishead to the top Saturday night spot, and you’ll have to stick around to the bitter end to catch Beck and Outkast

All the week, The Irish Times will be exclusively revealing the stage times for this weekend’s Electric Picnic. So here’s who’ll be bossing the Main Stage for the three days, whipping up a storm on the RBMA stage, and the Bacardi line-up that’s already done the rounds. We’ll have the remaining stage times later in the week.

If you thought you might skip Friday, think again. Chic headlining on a Saturday will definitely be a party, but haven’t we all been there before? And the Sunday night one-two of Beck and Outkast means no one will want to go home early.

And if you’re looking for some of the finer things in life at this weekend’s extravaganza, a team of Ireland’s top chefs will be bringing their Michelin-starred skills to Stradbally. Derry Clarke of L’Ecrivain will be hosting “the ultimate picnic banquet”, along with Kevin Hui of China Sichuan, Warren Massey of Le Gueuleton, Ross Lewis of Chapter One and Lorcan Cribbin.
