Acid Jazz anniversary
The 25th anniversary of Acid Jazz Records will be marked by a late gig in the Sugar Club in Dublin on November 16th.
The label, which was founded by DJs Gilles Peterson and Eddie Piller in 1987, was once home to artists such as The Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai and Mother Earth. Piller himself will be at the bash, along with Soul Riot and Dublin Afrobeat Ensemble. It starts at 11pm. tickets.ie.
