Pavilion, Cork Tonight 11pm €10 before midnight/€12 021-4276230

The first 10 years are the hardest . . . Tonight, Cork techno emporium Bastardo Electrico marks a decade of top-quality parties, an era which has featured guests from home and away including Ben Sims, Adam Beyer, Ben Klock, Technasia and Surgeon. For this big night they’ve got DJ Bone (below) in the frame. The Detroit underground techno luminary has been laying down his uncompromising version of the law since the mid-1990s.

Bone’s career started out in the Motor City, but it was a guest appearance alongside Laurent Garnier at the Rex Club in Paris that alerted techno fans over here to Bone’s style. Since then he has spread his gospel of Detroit techno soul far and wide, both through his Subject Detroit label and, more importantly, a nonstop devotion to rocking rooms around the globe.

Support for Bone from Bastardio Electrico co-founder Jamie Behan and new resident Philip Deasy.
