Rage of Innocence: Iran snubs Oscars

The Innocence of Muslims controversy continues. An LA judge rejected a request from an actor in the film – who claims she was misled about the content – to have it removed from YouTube. Now, the government of Iran is planning to boycott the Oscars over it. An Iranian picture, A Separation, holds the title for best foreign language picture. So, the decision is significant. “We will refrain from taking part in this year’s Oscars,” said culture minister Mohammad Hosseini, “and we ask other Islamic nations to show their protest like this.”
