One day Larry was sitting in his tree house eating KFC with his best friend, Unitayto, the unicorn potato. Larry noticed on his KFC bucket an advertisement for the Golden KFC Bucket competition. The winner would get free KFC for life and own a KFC store. Larry was desperate to find the Golden KFC Bucket. As he was climbing down from the tree house Larry asked: “Unitayto, will you help me find the Golden KFC Bucket? I’ll share all the chicken with you and give you a job!” “Yes, but I want to be assistant manager,” replied Unitayto. “I’ll pay you a decent wage,” said Larry. Larry thought to himself, “If I win the Golden KFC Bucket I will deep fry my own tree house mansion.”

Unitayto flew down from the tree house and they started on their journey. Larry and Unitayto knew they would have to go under the waterfall at Mt Krushem and into the cave at the top of the gravy volcano. The cave was guarded by the evil Chonkey, the chicken donkey – Chonkey was the arch enemy of Unitayto and Larry. Chonkey liked McDonalds and Larry and Unitayto liked KFC. Chonkey had been trying to close down KFC. Apparently, Chonkey claimed that they grew their own fake chicken. Larry and Unitayto knew this wasn’t true. “We will have to sneak in during the night,” said Larry.

“You’re right Larry,” replied Unitayto.

So they walked through the town from where they lived. And when they reached the end of the town, Larry hopped on Unitayto and they flew away. While they were flying Larry spotted something down below. It was McDonalds and Chonkey was there, getting a Big Mac.

Larry knew they should get to the cave before Chonkey returned. They hurried and in the distance the two friends saw Mt Krushem. Icecream was pouring down from it. Larry and Unitayto went down to have a little taste of it and just then, Chonkey popped out!

“You shall not pass!” shouted Chonkey. He was angry and started throwing chicken nuggets at them. Larry and Unitayto dodged the chicken.

“The only way to beat me is to get the Golden KFC bucket,” roared Chonkey. “I’ve hidden the KFC bucket . . . oh wait I wasn’t meant to tell you that.”

“Larry, you distract Chonkey while I go and search for the bucket,” whispered Unitayto. Larry threw ice cream in Chonkey’s face and the two friends raced towards the gravy volcano.Inside the volcano there were rocks and along a path there was a circle made of diamonds.

“We must be getting close,” the friends thought. At first Larry tried to remove some of the diamonds but they had no luck. They couldn’t pick a winner! Suddenly they heard someone coming. They thought they heard splashing, like someone was swimming up the gravy river. “Quick, hide behind this rock,” said Unitayto.

They were on their hunkers, hiding. Unitayto lost his balance and fell over, hitting a rock. Just then a door opened! “You’re a genius Unitayto!” said Larry.

He walked slowly through the door and saw two things – the KFC bucket on a chrome pedestal and in front of it a strange looking puzzle. “Beware, there might be a booby trap,” said Unitayto. Larry looked at the puzzle. There were three buckets and inside there was a piece of chicken. They were all different. There was a sign above the buckets. It said: Choose wisely!

To claim the Golden KFC Bucket you must taste each piece of chicken and decide which one is the KFC one. The two friends looked at each other. Larry decided to take the challenge.

“Good luck!” said Unitayto.

“Thanks, but I don’t need it,” replied Larry. He stepped up and took a bite of the first one. “That’s homemade,” he said to himself.

He took a second piece. “That’s not even chicken!” he said and he spat it out. Then he took the final piece of chicken. “Mmm!” Larry said, rubbing his stomach, “This is the one, this is KFC!” Larry put the chicken into a tube in front of the Golden KFC Bucket. The bucket came flying up and Unitayto grabbed it. “We did it!” Larry screamed. Just then Chonkey appeared.

“Congratulations,” he said. The two friends were shocked and confused.

Chonkey explained that he was a secret KFC agent and he had been undercover to find the most loyal fan of KFC. He had found Larry and Unitayto.

“I’m so happy that this is over,” said Larry. “Hey Chonkey, do you want to come live with us?” “Yes, I do,” Chonkey replied. He was really happy. When they got back home Larry and Unitayto and Chonkey deep-fried their tree house and lived happily ever after.
