The Icon Factory in Dublin’s Temple Bar is preparing to unveil its latest street artwork

The Aslan singer is to be honoured in a new street artwork produced by the Icon Factory in Temple Bar. Street artist FINK has been working on the piece which will be hung on the Icon Walk in the area.

Nestled in the heart of Temple Bar is the Icon Factory, a non-profit artist collective. Both a gallery and a working studio, their most public work is the production of murals of Irish literary and musical icons such as Beckett, Joyce and MacGowan. The latest, featuring Christy Dignam of Aslan, is currently in production. Here, Niamh Guckian meets the artist Fink and Kevin Bohan of the Icon factory to find out more. See
