Web Log: Plan meetings with Google Calendar’s Find a Time feature

Find a Time seeks out the best time you and your colleagues are mutually available

Finding a time that suits everyone's schedule is the absolute worst. You know the score: email tennis, WhatsApp updates, an empty Doodle poll. If most of your colleagues are using Google Calendar (through Google Apps for Work or Edu) then the new "Find a Time" feature is perfect.

Assuming you share work calendars with your colleagues, with one tap it is possible to scan through everyone’s calendar to find suitable free times. If there are none, “Find a Time” will examine conflicting meetings to see which ones can be most easily rescheduled. This handy little feature is currently only available for Android but is coming soon to iOS.

If you want to forget about work and concentrate on upcoming holidays, then you’ll be happy to hear there are rumours of an all-in-one travel app called Google Trips. It reportedly pulls together city travel guides, ratings from Google Maps, and Google Now info like reminders to leave for the airport or suggested routes to your destination.
