Feedspot injects life into RSS feeds

Did you turn your back on RSS when Google Reader closed last year? Have you moved onto Flipboard and other similarly shiny apps for your news updates? Don't give up on good old-fashioned RSS feeds; Feedspot is a pretty snazzy service that does all the recommendation stuff in terms of who to follow or easy addition of news by topic or location. It also allows for importing existing feed settings (in OPML format) or manually adding URLs from blogs, etc you'd like to subscribe to. If social discovery is your method of getting general news, then use this for the specifics or sources you'd like to keep an eye on. There's also an Android app but nothing for iOS as of yet. feedspot.com
