Eircom has announced the first winner of its competition aimed at boosting the online presence of small and medium-sized enterprises. Specialist tea shop The Joy of Cha won the prize worth €10,000, which includes a new website, a strategy day with Eircom’s digital and marketing experts and a year-long telecoms package.
The Temple Bar-based tea shop was set up in 2006 by Dara Gallagher and Sergey Letsko, and sells more than 50 different teas.
“Our shop is quite small which means we can only display a fraction of the products we sell. We know with a meaningful online presence we can drive online sales and also encourage customers to visit the shop,” said Mr Letsko.
