Cuphead for Xbox evokes vintage Mickey Mouse

This computer game puts me in mind of Steamboat Willie and other cartoons of its ilk from the 1920s and 1930s. The gorgeously retro animation and ragtime- esque soundtrack is a joy as you can see from this 30-second clip played recently at E3 2014 expo. Cuphead is due for release next year on Xbox and the Steam platform. The developers haven't given much more information other than the fact that a lot of the animation is hand-drawn and the gameplay is a classic run and gun with one-on-one fights complete with boss levels, unlockable infinite lives and a playable world map.
