Boxever opens new offices on back of 44% employee growth

Boxever, a big data platform for airlines and travel operators, has relocated its headquarters to Ashford House in Dublin to accommodate a 44 per cent increase in new employees since January.

The company is also establishing its first international office, in Boston, which will be focused on global marketing and account development activities.

Boxever CEO Dave O’Flanagan said the company has found a real need in the travel industry for a more efficient and effective way to deal with the surge of data airlines are getting from multiple customer channels.

“This strong interest has resulted in a growing need for skilled resources across all our operations,” he added.

Boxever’s solution helps companies sift through the mountains of data they collect from customers through web sites, call centres, mobile devices, reservation systems, booking agents, social media, on-line searches, email and in-flight purchases. The data is then analyzed by Boxever to help deliver personalisation to customers.

Boxever was founded in 2010 by Dave O'Flanagan, Alan Giles and Dermot O'Connor. It is backed by Polaris Partners, which led a $6 million Series A funding round earlier this year. Prior to that, Boxever raised a $1 million in a seed round in 2012.
