‘Ambiancé’: The longest film ever made

While long-form journalism offers a sensible alternative to news in the form of tweets and bite-sized updates perhaps this 720 hour long film by Swedish artist Anders Weberg is a bit of a stretch for those seeking video relief outside the confines of YouTube clips of yawning cats and selfie-involved twerk bores. Weberg has just released what he calls "a short 72 minute teaser" on Vimeo ahead of the December 31st release date in 2020 and in 2016 the trailer – at 7 hours 20 minutes – will arrive.
