Sponsor sought for Penn State v University of Central Florida
Billed as the Croke Park Classic, the US college football match is expected to attract a sell-out crowd of 69,000.
Billed as the Croke Park Classic, the match is expected to attract a sell-out crowd of 69,000 – the stadium’s capacity is being reduced for logistical reasons – on August 30th with ESPN’s live coverage forecast to attract a television audience of 1.3 million in the US, and 800,000 in Europe.
The GAA has hired the Concept Partnership – whose backers include Liam Gaskin, agent to former Ireland manager Mick McCarthy, and Richard Moore, a former press adviser to Government departments – to secure a sponsor. It is targeting large corporates and multinationals with operations in Ireland.
In addition to the usual event branding and advertising opportunities, the sponsor will get access to a 30-person corporate box, a hospitality suite for 50 guests, and 100 premium tickets.
