Tesco occupies the ground floor and part of the first floor

A private investor has paid more than €1.5 million for the former Danske Bank at 98-100 South Circular Road, Dublin 2, which is let to Tesco Express at a rent of €77,000 a year.

The 25-year lease includes a break option in years 10 and 15. The rent is subject to five-yearly reviews linked to the Consumer Price Index.

The three-storey building extends to 714sq m (7,668sq ft) and Tesco occupies the ground floor and part of the first floor.

The remainder of the building, at 368sq m (3,961sq ft), is laid out for office use and has its own entrance door.
