itsa bagel to open near Fallon & Byrne on Exchequer Street

The huge success of the Fallon & Byrne food hall and wine shop on Dublin’s Exchequer Street has attracted yet another food retailer to the street.

Fast food multiple itsa bagel plans to open another outlet a few doors from Fallon & Byrne at 19 Exchequer Street which previously traded as a shoe store.

Sisters Domini and Peaches Kemp will be paying a headline rent of €60,000 per annum for the shop which has a ground floor area of over 73sq m (785sq ft) and another 77sq m (828sq ft) in the basement.

Nigel Kingston of Douglas Newman Good, who handled the letting, has also let 14 Exchequer Street – opposite Fallon & Byrne – to Genius men's fashions which has been trading out of Powerscourt town centre on Clarendon Street for over 20 years. It will be paying a headline rent of €40,000 for its Exchequer Street shop.
