Short-term car park charges are €3 an hour between 8am and 7pm; €3.50 an hour after three hours and €10 for evenings or overnight.
There is also a €24 charge for 24-hour parking. Access is via a ramp entrance from Chimney Lane, a road leading on to Pearse Street, while the exit is on to Macken Street.
It is also one of the most vibrant business and leisure areas and it will become even busier in the future because of plans by Facebook and William Fry to relocate to new office accommodation just off the square.
