Irish-listed gaming firm signs deal to target Italian market

GameAccount Network signs partnership with Net Entertainment

Gaming technology company GameAccount Network has announced a new deal with Net Entertainment in a bid to strengthen its position in the regulated Italian market.

The Irish-listed firm, which is backed by the Smurfit family, said the deal will allow it to offer Net Entertainment’s PC and mobile content to well-known and established operators such as Sisal, Snai and Eurobet.

GameAccount Network develops and supplies enterprise-level business-to-business gaming software and online gaming content. The deal with Net Entertainment is the latest announcement for the firm, which last month signed deal with US casino group Foxwoods to launch the first simulated gaming online casino experience in the US. That followed a "strategic partnership" with the US arm of Konami, a Japanese slot machine company, in January.

"This partnership with Net Entertainment strengthens our offering and we look forward to continuing to grow our position in the regulated Italian gaming market," chief executive of GAN Dermot Smurfit said.
