Irish tax advisory group Immedis has appointed Richard Limpkin as chief operating officer.

The company, which is owned by Terry Clune’s taxback.com, provides global payroll to multinationals around the world. It was rebranded seven months ago and launched as a specialist division of the Taxback Group.

Mr Limpkin will lead the company’s operational processes to support the immediate and long-term growth of Immedis.

He will take ownership of the technical and product roadmap, including platform and service components, supporting infrastructure and process. This will also include leading integration across global human capital management and finance technology partnerships.

He joins from CoreHR, a human resources and payroll software provider in Ireland, where worked for nine years before becoming a partner in 2015.

Mr Limpkin also worked with Deloitte Consulting, joining the company directly from university and practising in their London office for four years prior to transferring to their Dublin office for a further two years.

During this period, his client base included Primark, Oxford University, Irish Life and Permanent, Bord na Móna and Vodafone.

Mr Limpkin attended Durham University and has an MSc in physics. He is also a chartered global management accountant.

Immedis announced plans in June to add 150 jobs over the next three years. Its global clients include Wayfair, Kerry, NYIT and Airbus, with about one-third of its business coming from Ireland.

The Taxback Group was formed in 1996 and has more than 1,100 employees in 33 offices worldwide.
