Ciara O’Brien has been a technology writer since 2002 and joined The Irish Times in 2008. Ciara's a business journalist as well as part-time gadget geek, and writes on everything from mobile phones and tablets to very expensive TVs and watches. She regularly appears on radio shows trying to convince people she’s not anti-Apple, then spends the rest of the day defending herself from blog commenters claiming she’s too pro-Apple. The standing joke on the business desk is how many tech related items she can fit in her handbag.
