Web directory franchise Thebestof to create 90 jobs

Independent web directory franchise Thebestof said it expects to create 90 jobs across Ireland over the next three years.

Thebestof is a business directory with local events listings, news and jobs. It currently has four franchises across the country, and expects an additional 40 franchises are to be created over the next three to four years.

Maynooth-based entrepreneur Paul Teahan, who acquired the master franchise for Ireland, said many small and local business know they need marketing support but don't know where to start.

“We’ve seen such rapid growth because we take the hassle out of marketing for our clients while delivering measurable results in a very affordbale manner. I think we’re still being reasonably conservative in our growth predictions,” he said.

Thebestof Ireland won the Best Newcomer Award at the 2015 Irish Franchise Awards. The organisation’s franchisees champion and showcase the best businesses and events in local towns and regions throughout the country.
