The successful fashion group Superdry is to open its first outlet in Cork city next week, taking over the premises of the former Moderne shop on Patrick’s Street.

The company is understood to have agreed a rent of €380,000 for 391sq m (4,000 sq ft) at street level.

Peter O’Meara, of Savills, handled the letting and Lisa McGrane, of JLL, advised the tenant, which also has stores in Suffolk Street and Dundrum in Dublin, and at Dublin airport and Kildare Village.
