New tenants in Blackrock Shopping Centre

Lisa Perkins, Vanilla Pod, Esquires and Mobile Fix to join mix at south Dublin centre

Blackrock Shopping Centre in south Dublin continues to attract top tenants. Women's fashion specialist Lisa Perkins has taken over the extensive outlet (278sq m/3,000sq ft) previously occupied by Mothercare at a rent of around €100,000 per annum.

Also preparing to move in is the Vanilla Pod restaurant which will be paying around €50,000 for 139sq m (1,500sq ft) on the lower level. The restaurant group opened its first outlet in Carrickmines in 2011.

Esquires, the gourmet coffee house expanding rapidly in Dublin, is understood to have agreed a rent of €30,000 for a 36sq m (391sq ft) unit.

Another new name is Mobile Fix which handles sales of phones and tablets as well as accessories.

The recent spate of letting in the Blackrock centre has meant that it now has only two vacant units of 55 and 111sq m (600 and 1,200sq ft) being marketed by Mervyn Ellis of BNP Paribas Real Estate and Daragh Cronin of Savills.
