Housing association pays €1.36m for James’s Street apartments in Dublin 8

Residential units are let to Dublin City Council at an annual rent of €110,000

A housing association has acquired a residential development at numbers 142/143 James’s Street in Dublin 8.

It paid over €1.36 million for seven apartments (four two-bedroom units and three three-bedroom units) located directly opposite the site of the planned national maternity hospital.

Gareth Noone of DNG Advisory handled the sale of the residential units which are let to Dublin City Council on a 10-year lease from 2015 at an annual rent of €110,000.

The council is responsible for the upkeep of the apartments under the term of the lease.
