Dan Boyd to lead Hibernia’s building management department

Hibernia is to set up its own building management department to take control of over 500,000sq ft of multi-let commercial space under third-party management. The expectation is that the portfolio will double in size as development and refurbishment projects such as Windmill Lane and Cumberland House are completed. Dan Boyd, who is to head up the new department, joins the company from Burlington Real Estate. Frank O'Neill, chief operations officer, said that while uncommon in Ireland taking property management in-house was best international practice and common among major UK and European Reits.
