€4.75m for Foxrock infill residential site

1.84-acre grounds include two houses, one of which is listed

Sherry FitzGerald is quoting €4.75 million for a well-located infill housing site at the corner of Torquay Road and Golf Lane in Foxrock, Co Dublin. The 1.84-acre grounds include two houses: one of them, Mandeville, is a protected structure, and the other, Carrigmore, will probably be demolished.

Ronan O’Hara of the selling agents said they already had considerable interest in the property from builders/developers who recognised the potential for a small upmarket scheme of detached houses or possibly apartments.

Developers looking at the site will be aware that another listed house adjoining Mandeville, with grounds extending to 1.25 acres, is also currently for sale through Lisney. The likelihood is that the three houses and more than three acres of development land will be bought by the same purchaser.
