Irish financial services company Bankhawk Analytics has been named “most transformative” start-up at the SAP Sapphire Now conference in Orlando, Florida.

The Dublin-based firm, which provides companies with financial analytics using their banking data, won the SAP Start-up Focus competition . The competition provides participants in the SAP Start-up Focus programme an opportunity to showcase their solutions for the SAP HANA platform, SAP’s real-time database platform that streamlines analytics.

Bankhawk showcased Bankhawk365, its analytics software, which companies can use to unlock cash trapped in banking systems, uncover hidden banking costs, and generate large ongoing savings.

Bankhawk Analytics chief executive Brian Weakliam said winning the award was a “pleasant surprise”.

Bankhawk Analytics’ clients include Fyffes, Axa, KPMG, Paddy Power, Aer Lingus and Dairygold.
