Four MBA students from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School are to compete with 36 teams from other such colleges around the globe in a competition in Canada.

The John Molson International Case competition is the largest of its kind and involves teams of MBA students pitting their business “case-cracking” skills against each other.

The teams present their cases to a panel of board-level judges over six days from January 6th.

The UCD team, which is being sponsored by Molson Coors Ireland, is the only Irish team taking part.
