Is that enough letters? After a busy week, the good people at the Dublin Film Critics Circle are coming to their final conclusions as to the best films performances and so forth at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival. Should you wish to some along for the announcement, you will be welcomed with cake and whiskey. It all takes place at 3.30 tomorrow in the Irish Film Institute. And all wise punters should attend. As ever, Tara  Brady — interviewed above in conversation with Mikhail Segal, director of the excellent Short Stories — will be wearing the ermine for an event that always proves to be jolly good fun.

Not much else needs to be  on the runners and rider. I am sure you have been paying close attention to the daily bulletins in this newspaper. Enjoy more action from the festival below…
