Disposable razors are not great, let’s face it. For the glory of Pricewatch this week I took five of the things to my face and head. I’m still bleeding.
I spent last weekend eating fresh pepperoni pizzas for the glory of Pricewatch. By the end of the weekend I felt, and I fear looked, a bit like Homer Simpson. Most of the ones I tried were surprisingly good although I have to say the semi-DIY option from Dunnes was a bit terrible.

I reviewed cafetiéres this week and got mocked by Ray Darcy and a number of other people for doing so! Apparently, they’re quite posh. . . I didn’t know that. Anyways, there’s a huge difference in price between the cheapest (M&S) and the dearest (Stellar) – over €70, in fact – but it was one of those times when the most expensive option still came out on top.

There’s a big Christmas special on the Pricewatch page this week which saw me review Christmas biscuits and Christmas lights.
Sorry, it has taken me an age to post this and I know the world will have been waiting anxiously for the Pricewatch assessment of cream liqueurs in the run up to Christmas! I spent a long and solitary evening last week drinking five bottles of the stuff which is as much fun as it sounds…

I’d never used a bluetooth headset so came this totally cold. The challenge was to find a headset which didn’t make me look like an eejit – well, any more of an eejit than I look at the best of times. Not sure if I succeeded but I was pretty impressed by the cheapest and the dearest options…

Finally! After weeks of reviewing vinegars and tinned tomatoes and various kitchen implements I get to try something nice! I felt just a little poorly after all the gorging, mind you.
