Other Voices heads to Electric Picnic

The Dingle beaut continues road tripping, this time to Stradbally.

Other Voices has spread its wings from Dingle to New York to Derry to London. And now, it will be rolling up to another festival as it takes on the Electric Picnic.

The Other Voices stage is a new addition to the Picnic this year. It will be in the woods of the Stradbally site, and will feature a line-up of Irish and international acts, collaborations between musicians, and a sense of mystery as the schedule and specific details of the line up will remain unannounced.

It’s a good move for Other Voices which has grown rapidly over the past couple of years. And it’s also a good move for the Picnic which has suffered slightly from Groundhog Day syndrome in terms of the site layout and its features for those who return to Stradbally year after year.

The OV team says: “Expect the unexpected, magical performances from friends old and new, collaborations, songs and tunes for the head and heart.”
