Alan Moore was interviewed on the BBC’s Today programme about his graphic novel that tackles fashion, the rag trade and, inevitably, a more sinister side to frocks and frippery.

The graphic novel began its life as a film script with Malcolm McLaren in the 1980s. “I think Malcolm McLaren was never without something to say, often something of some importance,” Moore says.
