Come Rhyme With Me: Dublin Pride edition

Come Rhyme With Me returns to the Outhouse to host an evening themed around this year’s Pride celebrations

Come Rhyme With Me, the spoken word explosion event I co-run with my buddy Vickey ‘Ragin’ Curtis is coming back to the Outhouse on Capel Street in Dublin on Wednesday June 12th to make this year’s Dublin Pride.

We’re going to have a bunch of special guests, Big Gay Fortune Cookies, work games, and general lolz. CRWM isn’t your typical spoken word event. We operate under the premise that everything spoken is spoken word, so from hip-hop to stream of consciousness, prose and poetry, rants and speeches, word games and rhymes, it’s a rollicking DIY mash-up. The suggested donation is €3 and all of the funds go to Outhouse, an LGBT community resource centre in Dublin. Come Rhyme With Me is a rolling funder of Outhouse, with all festival appearance fees, ticket sales and donations going back into the centre.

You can check out more deets over on the Come Rhyme With Me tumblr.
