Jay-Z had this doc made about the run up to the opening of Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and the series of gigs he was doing there as part of a publicity drive and celebration (I guess) heralding the new home of the Brooklyn Nets, a team he owns a slice of.

And he’s not the only star of the film. 67-year-old Ellen Grossman has become slightly famous herself all for not realising how famous “Jay” is while he rode the subway as bit of a stunt on the way to his final show at the arena.

The arena itself has had its share of positive reviews and also criticisms in terms of the problems with regards to what was promised for the area and what was delivered. For further reading, here’s a fairly balanced piece that was in the New Yorker back in September.
