This Sunday, the RTE Concert Orchestra plays the score of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in the O2 in Dublin live under a giant screen showing the film. The guy behind one of the most phenomenal film scores ever is three-time Oscar winner Howard Shore, who has scored over 80 films such as The Fly, Big, The Silence Of The Lambs, Philadelphia, High Fidelity, Gangs Of New York, The Departed and of course The Lord of the Rings trilogy and lately The Hobbit trilogy.

My Q&A with Shore is in today’s paper, or you can read it here, and you can buy tickets to Sunday’s event here.
