What are you reading?
I have at least 3 piles of books that I’m simultaneously reading from; one for fashion/art/design, one for literature and one for computer subjects. Woolgathering by Patti Smith was a recent gift. I absolutely love this little book. I’m also reading Dickens for a project I’m working on. The internet and web design are my current obsessions too so I’m going through the A Book Apart collection, which is really good.

I recently watched Herb & Dorothy, a documentary about a couple in New York who have been collecting art since the 60′s – over 4,000 masterpieces in a tiny apartment, an incredible story!

I’ve become a TED talk fanatic. I don’t have time or money to go back to college at the moment so I’ve made it my mission to learn as much as I can about random subjects, this year. YouTube is great for self-directed education, for free. I watch at least one a day. If I want to wind my dog up, I’ll put on YouTube dog-related videos too, it usually drives him crazy
What track should we listen to right now?
Anything from James Vincent McMorrow.
Which boxset/TV series do you have on the go at the moment?
We watch very little TV at home, if we do it’s usually documentaries. Anything about travel, food or human behaviour.
Last gig/concert you went to and your verdict?
The closest thing to a gig I’ve been to this year was OFFSET2012. Verdict: Can’t wait for next year, such an inspiring line up. Excellent organization. Great value for money. I also went to Dublin Dance Festival and watched Klaus Obermaier which was pretty amazing.
Which app do you use the most?
Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
And finally, if you covet clothes from one designer this month, make it…
John Rocha, his whole collection is a dream. One season after another he is producing some of the best collections we see on any catwalk. I really believe Ireland has one of the greatest designers in the world.
