Hard Working Class Heroes has spent a decade in Dublin bringing the best new independent music to fans, and allowing the music industry TO DESCEND LIKE VULTURES AND STEAL ALL THE TALENT. Not really, but it’s an amazing showcase for Irish music and always a fun weekend in the city. I’ve made most of the ten festivals unless I’ve been out of the country, because it’s an essential weekend for anyone into local breaking talent. I’m off to the launch this eve so HAPPY BIRTHDAY HWCH.

This year’s festival happens over the 4th, 5th and 6th of October in The Button Factory, The Grand Social, The Mercantile, Meeting House Square, Twisted Pepper and The Workman’s Club. Bands and photographers can go to HWCH.net to apply to take part in the festival.
